Genuine advert!?

Seems it to me. A woman that for some reason needs money quickly is what I would think. What makes you think its not genuine?

Maybe I have missed something, I can be quite naive...:)

yeah i think its genuine :( she sounds desparate - "Due to no stabling and grazing I am desperately trying to re-home my much loved horses, will vet all prospective new owners, would rather PTS than allow to go to sale or meatman"

tbh i think she is trying to do best by her horses :) i hope they find nice homes!!

I have just been given for the winter a wonderfully bred IDXTB that 5 years ago as a foal would have made £2K - the breeder has said to me, have this horse (and if it breaks it leg with you - that is my (his) problem) but it is better off with you being ridden, and maybe hunted, then it is with me in the field - if you like it, make me an offer in the Spring.......(offer expected to be no more then £2K)
That is what the horse market is like at the moment........
Whilst today, there are headlines stating that 'the UK is out of recession' it is not - and certainly not in the rural bits of the UK - and Ireland is suffering hugely more than we are - in Ireland they are giving horses away.
If you like the horse as advertised - she / he who is advertising it is recognising her / his market and she / he maybe selling 1 or 50, but she / he is trying to find good homes.
If it was me, looking at this horse, I would be offering him / her £500 less (which they will probabaly take for an unbroken youngster) and sadly they will probabaly accept - it is you or the knacker........
That is the current (real) market......

I think it is genuine (sad though) and they all look like lovely horses especially the pb arab, there are soo many cheap horses around at the mo. I paid the asking price for mine as it was so under my budget but I'm sure she would have taken less.

If it was nearer I'd have one of the ponies for a companion but I would hope she can sell them pretty easily at those prices!

Hello OP. It is a genuine ad as have been in indirect contact with people about the 15.1 horse, but unfortunately he's just not suitable as I'm looking for a bombproof horse in traffic (if anyone got one?) for two novices.
The owners really do just want what is best for their horses so if you are interested I'd give them a ring.
