I've been forwarded an email saying that the animal health trust are looking to rehome tens of Welsh youngsters. I don't know much about welfare charities but something about this made me uneasy, offering them to unvetted homes and no attempts to properly prep them for going. Is it genuine or a scam?
TIA X

That looks a bit off to me. Personally I can't see how rescue centres can simply dump horses on people without making sure they are going to look after them properly and not have to be rescued again in the future. I suspect there will be a rehoming fee?

But the really odd thing is that this charities website does not mention rescuing or rehoming. It's a vet practice and research centre. Where would they get 80 ish section A & Bs from?
Could it be the anti-testing [insert adjective of choice depending on your views] taking action?

Why don't you forward the email to AHT and ask. At least if it IS a scam, they can be aware of it and take steps to stop :)

Seems a bizarre thing for the AHT to do, but who knows.........

That's what I would do forward the email to them and see what happens .

If it's the Geller commons or indeed the gypsie cobs please forward the email to redwings. It is not happening... Yet.
