After my anguished howl when the novice test was changed at the last minute thought I'd let you all know how we got on - vid posted but quality not brill.
George was a dude and we got 67.08% in Prelim 14, but standard very high lots of 70+ so not placed. Including one young lady who had a right sulk for "only" getting 70%, me smells a pothunter!
So onto Novice 24, he warmed up fantastically, but I felt like test went to pot. I felt like I was all over the place and canter not as balanced as it was 20 seconds before in warm up! But, 67.31% and either 5th or 4th, and we beat some of those who whopped our a** in the prelim. Some 8s crept in and judge said "lovely partnership showing some good training"
. Have thanked instructor!
I think we were 4th, you wouldn't believe the chaos over adding the marks up - the lass who started off as 2nd ended up being 3rd cos they'd added her score up wrong, but my score was higher than her new one - I gave up and got poor patient George home.
So happy Gill - hope the Forum police don't shout at me for posting this in NL!!!!
