Gorgeous George

Just a little update, the vet came to see George on thursday for a check up as it is now 8 weeks since his op for his hind leg PSD. The wound that got damaged when he came round from the op is almost healed now and the vet was happy with that. He asked for him to be walked up and down the yard a few times and he was happy with his movement and he then asked me to trot him a short way and George was sound :biggrin3: I know it is early days and it was only one little trot, but they are all steps in the right direction.
He then said that George could be turned out in small paddock for a few hours a day to start with, and continue with the walking but just once a day now. I was pleased but a bit apprehensive, George has been a total saint whilst he's been in and being walked but I thought the field might just be too much. I should of known better the lure of food and rolling in mud was just to much and so far 3 days in he has been quiet.
A few people have asked how he was, so I hope you don't mind the update. I am so proud of my boy and what a good patient he has been so far :smile3:
