Well following the big stable move, I finally figured out how many steps to my new stable and where the obstacles like the big drain outside are. I like the new sunnier mornings, as I see mainly in shape and light rather than detail these days it is sooo nice to go out when it's properly light.

New stable has a big wide low window across the back so I can see the light outside, it has bars on it so I don't bump my face.

Person has decided I am fat and must resume work now that I have adjusted to the new home. Not too impressed, has she not looked in the water trough at herself before calling me fat???

So far I have pottered about with Sharers foal brother who is very light and Sharer walked with me so I knew where I was going. Then tuesday and today I went for a hack with person and B. It was nice getting out and about for 20 mins. The track was quite flat and smooth and I could hear sheep and lambs. The cars go round me so no sight issues there.

I have noticed I am a little stiff on my near fore till I get going but it doesn't hurt and it's soo nice to be out. Person commented which was a bit cheeky as she is quite often stiff in a morning. Still she sounded concerned rather than critical.

I felt like a youngster again and Person had to slow me down a few times! I even trotted up the little steep hill.

It was quite easy really, I just keep Person's knee within tickling distance of my whiskers and B nice and near. She lets me know if scary things happen.

I feel 10 years younger, wonder when we're going again?

Lottie.
