Can anyone tell me where to start looking to find out about a horse that is supposed to have evented in Germany?

Don't know what/if there is a national governing body in germany though for national/lower levels.

He's not on the FEI website, but I've found out that he was competed by Frank Ostholt & Stephanie Cordugas as a 4/5 year old. My GSCE german isn't helping me much though.... Is there a German eventing database that I might find results for him?

No, there is no database on the website, but if you email them they are normally happy to help (you can email in English). Not sure if it's better to use the form on the website ('Kontakt') or to email directly, perhaps both?
