German Ex-racer - Eligible for classes?

Hi Peeps, I am hoping you knowledeable H&Hounders can help me with a couple of questions:

1) Does anyone know if you have to have a Weatherby's registered ex-racer to enter in the ex-racer classes at shows, or can anyone with an ex-racer enter no matter what passport they have? (or does it really depend on who is running the class and level, as I will only be doing local shows).
2) I have a German TB ex-racer and am struggling to find out exactly where to send my passport to register us as his new owner, as the website is.... in German Would Weatherby's stamp it/authorise it?? I realy don't want a new passport, as he has all his history and races he did in his current passport, but need to register him NOW, but just can't find out how to?

I sent my us jockey club one to weatherbys and they registered me as the new owner and he is eligible to enter the ROR scheme. He was stamped as coming into the country by weatherbys so I think in the first instance he sits under their authority now and I would only go back to the US jockey club for a new passport if his was ever lost. They are really helpful at Weatherbys and answered all my ridiculous questions when I first got mine

Thanks a lot for this, will give them a call - I have been on their website, but could only find info on them issuing replacement passports, which I don't want.
