I have 2 and have bred a couple of litters. I have found them to be absolutely brilliant with children. As for chasing cats that is intirely how they are raised. My friend who breeds them has over 20 cats and never has a problem mixing them. Mine are short haired pointers, liver and white. Black and white's have a history of not being so placid and a nasty streak - I can back this up too! I know where there should be a very well bred litter soon (Nr Leicester). If interested please pm me
I have a 6 month old. He's brilliant. Incredibly intelligent, very trainable and love to learn. Excellent with children, horses and has never chased a cat! He got boped on the nose by one at 10 weeks old and has never been given the opportunity to chase!
My 4 yr old and 16 month old neice were over yesterday and I totally trusted him with them (although he did knock the little one over once, but that was just a puppy thing and she is tiny! He just brished her as he went past). He plays with my clients children after lessons sometimes and they all love it! He's very good natured and as they are so trainable you can make of them what you want.
