German Shepherd Lovers

All your dogs are gorgeous!! :)
Myself and the OH have a 3 1/2 year old gsd bitch, love the breed, she's so loyal and friendly but also gives the postman a right on a daily basis ;)

Can't seem to get any more links to work, I'm new to this whole photobucket thing B)

Lost my old girl 3 weeks ago. I knew it would happen soon, as she was getting slower and slower. But one morning when we got up, we found she had collapsed - panting but unable to move. She slipped into a coma on the way to the Vet. She was 16, but you always hope for just a little bit longer. Went to a 2 day meeting in Peterborough 2 weeks ago, surfed the net, found pup with breeding I wanted and picked her up on way home. Mother turned out to be the image of Shelley, so I just had to have the pup. The people kindly let me take her then and there rather than 3 hour round trip next day. Tara is filling a big gap.

They r very good natured..... when we got the mini yorkie was so nervous in introducing him too maxx because maxx was only use to havin 2 bitches in the house a bichon and a westie mix, when the westie passed away he was mopey and a bit down..... a few months later we got the yorkie maxx knew there was something new in house he went mad but once they were introduced they r best friends maxx is so gentle with dexter and its so funny wen u see a gsd taking off like sh@t of a shovel across the garden being chased by a mini yorkie pup lol

I am in the Auckland area.I was gong to join the local gsd club but got put off by a person who i thought was a "friend". I had the paper in my hand. No,there are some right screwed up people in that club and the local gsd rescue person does a good job at what she does but has caused a lot of trouble to people over the years.I have almost done my best to make friends with other gsd owners.I have found the only way to meet others of my kind is to meet them at one of the local dog parks and even then, a lot of them just want to keep to themselves.I was almost in heaven one day there were about four of us,all with our own gsd's.And there is one nice woman who has a young female i have seen come out of her shell.
I went to meet a female gsd this afternnoon with view of taking her on.I wished i had taken my good brush as she needed a good clean up and she liked me too and i liked her but i don't think she has ever been a house dog and from what her owner told me she loved to wreck stuff. There was stuff all over the yard that she and her lab mate had taken to bits.

Although I am not personally a big fan of buying dogs that way, it's nice to see some mention of health testing on at least some of those ads. You don't get that so much on the free ad sites here.
