How many are we talking about?
Nordic theme on S (many so you have some to choose between) : (male) Seved, Sigge, Sigmund, Sigvald, Sigvid, Sixten, Staffan, Sten, Stig, Sture, Styrbjörn, Sune, Svante, Sven, Svenning, Sverker, Sverre and Swede, (female) Saga, Sigbritt, Signe, Signy, Signild, Sigrid, Sigrun, Sigyn, Silja, Siv, Solbritt, Solveig, Stina, Svanhild, Svea, Svenborg, Svenda and Svenhild.

If you want a nordic theme on another letter, I,

what about afghanistan towns
like
Kyroch nimruz
kyroch vardak
kyroch zabol
kyroch farah
kyroch kapisa

they are lesser known towns there

or lots of people use songs.
a friend of mine used american football teams
eg
kyroch dallas cowboy
this was many years ago and it was a different affix so you could use them again.

or as they are sight hounds you could use a hunting theme.

or what about a classic sort of theme
kyroch Carmen
kyroch merchant of venice
kyroch ophelia

Thinking of what would suit the breed temperament and look maybe a dance theme ie Paso Doble, Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango etc?

or an ancient god theme Zeus, Venus, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Chaos (fab name for an Afghan!)

Don't forget that you have to give an alternative name for each pup too in case your first choice isn't available. You can leave it to the KC to pick the 2nd choice name but from experience they are not very inspired in their choices - I mean Primrose for a GSD

What about naming them after famous racehorses? I have registered a litter after show jumpers, but racehorses might be more appropriate for Afghans, or have a look at some Arab horses names, they would be suitable too.

We've had loads of themes for our whippets

Cheese (wenslydale, cheddar etc)

Biscuits (Hobnob etc)

Cars (this was just so my mum could call one of the dogs Rover LOL)

Fish (we had a puppy called Haddock - I kid you not)

Can't think of any more at the moment... will get back to you.
