Bless my little eb's she grew out of her saddle and developed a bit of wastage so she had a few weeks rest while I had her body tweaked a bit and found her a lovely new saddle that fits lovely. Then I start to ride her again and she almost collapses coughing! She did this with my sharer the following day (and became a bit nappy... feeling under par) so I called the vets out. I was so worried, he says she has a rattle at the back of her lungs, which is restricting her lung capacity and because it is so far back she is having difficulty shifting it. He gave me some powder to add to the feed (apparently it helps break the stuff up) and took a sample of blood for testing.
Anyway, just rang the vets to see if the results are back, the receptionist said they are (had just arrived) but that my vet was at the other practice, she would have to ring him and get him to call me and go through them!
GRRRRR. They are in, they are there, and i am just waiting. Knowing they are there, but not knowing and waiting is soooo frustrating.
