Hi Everyone.
Need a bit of advice....
I own a 9yr old Dutch WB that was imported here as a 5yr old. He never competed in Holland and hasnt been registered with the BSJA, BE or BD since he's been over here, but i want to register with the BSJA. Because he's imported, i need to get him graded right? How do i go about this and what does it entail? Ive never had to go through this process before so any correct advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanx!

Just send off your BSJA application as normal. If you have the import papers send these off, they will then add the appropriate money for a imorted 5yr old, if not they will add £2000. They then put this money on your horses card but they email/contact the country the horse came from and then clear the winnings if they didnt do anything there before coming over. Only takes couple of weeks for the money to get taken back off again! (Just done it with my mare!)

Hmmm... import papers? I dont have them, i wasnt given them when i bought him last year. All i have is his KWPN Passport and birth certificate.... What do u suggest?

Dont worry if you dont have the import papers, it just means they wont know when he was imported so they will put £2000 winnings on his card intially. But as i said it really doesnt take very long for this all to get cleared, as they will contact holland straight away and confirm he had no winnings over there and then they will remove the winnings and he will have £0 on his card until you start winning some classes! hehe. hope it all goes well xx
