Heya just wonderign if anybody has any tips on getting a cob used to having his legs clipped? he is perfect to clip his body and face and top half of legs but when i get down to his feathers he is awfull! also bad for his ears but im not to worried about those.
We have tried sedation (sedalin and vets) and he fights it, also tried holding the opposite leg up and then he just rears or kicks out also tried keeping the clippers touching his leg when he moves away but i dont want to get hurt :S
Iv been clipping him for a few years and hes just not getting used to it
but he really does need his feathers off for various reasons
any suggestions?
thanks
