Any tips on helping her settle in please. I have another dog, but puppy will be caged, thought about hot water bottle, ticking clock in a slipper. I have a puppy sitter coming in twice a day when I work 3 days a week, rest of the week she will be with me. I will obvioulsy need lots of toys too and newspaper :).
Picking her up next week, she is a birthday present. whoop.

Give or send her breeder and old smelly t shirt if possible that has been worn by or in bed with all the family so she is familiar with your smells. Also send a dog blanket and toy to the breeder with strict instructions not to be washed to pick up all her mum and litter mates smells to bring her comfort when she leaves them.

You will need a diet sheet and her routine, dates when she was wormed and vaccinated and what with and her registration papers and pedigree.

The perfect puppy by Gwen Bailey is a fab book as is the book of the bitch.

Enjoy your new arrival x x
