Getting a vetting blood sample tested

Has anyone had a blood sample taken at the vetting tested?
if so how do you go about doing it?
Who do you contact?

i know they are stored at a lab in newmarket for 6 months?

Any info would be great thanks

I've never had to have one checked however I think I'd start with contacting the vet that did the initial vetting, they should be able to tell you how you get it done...probably via them?

It is stored with the Vetrniary Defence Society, you need to contact your vet as they will have a copy of the form that they sent to the VDS. Your vet will then ask them to test for certain substances. It may cost £100 - £150 to test?

I had one tested, you just ring up the vet who vetted for you, they sort it and ring you with results. Hope you get the result you want?!

i've had one done too

spoke to the vets , they organised retreiving the sample & the lab test

cost near on £200 if i remember correctly
