The Boy and I are doing our first dressage test on Sunday, and although I don't plan on buying anything until we find out how much we enjoy (or otherwise) the test I thought I might have a little ask on here and see what dressage saddles come recommended?
No harm in window shopping, hey?

You might need to provide a little more information on you and your horse to get helpful replies. What shape is your horse? and do you like big or little blocks?

I have an albion lux for my connie and JFTD has the same for her highland. Its not got massive blocks but has enough support to comfortably ride long and shes much taller than me and we both find it comfortable. I'm not so much help on what suits a high withered horse though.

Thanks dafthoss, my horse is a 16.2 Spanish Sports Horse, so tall but not that wide. I am 5ft 2, and I prefer smaller blocks. I struggle with keeping my body upright and not scrunching forwards, so anything with a nice deep seat would probably help :)

I will have a look at the Albion website.

i have a black country dressage saddle its got small knee blocks but a really deepseat and its comfy too :) i think its the Eden but mine has a deeper seat so i dont know :o but heres a picture of it on my spanish beastie
