After almost 4 years without I've broken down and ordered a new coop and cage, and I'm going to have chickens again... Can't wait for lovely fresh eggs

I have two hens and the eggs they produce is mad! We can't eat them fast enough! lol

Fortunately we aren't that officious in France. At my peak, when I was breeding fancy birds I had about 50. Then over the course of about 3 weeks they were all wiped out by martens, and at the time I didn't have the heart to replace them.
This time I've also bought a cage for them to live in, so although they won't have so much freedom, hopefully they will be safer.
I also need to bear in mind that I'll have limited space, and therefore I can have limited chickens!

That's good for you! At my family garden I (my parents actually) had chickens. As a child I used to like feeding them with grass lol
