How do you all get your horses coats out for early shows?

Thanks for replies!!! I have a mate and she constantly over rugs and swears this is the only way to remove winter coats. She wont have it that it the daylight hours and lots of elbow grease do the trick.


I told her I was going to post on here and ask others. Please keep your views coming. I want to show her all the replies.

Add small quantity of linseed oil to the feed, gives a good gloss, combined with the elbow work.We have found a sheepskin grooming mitten works really well:
