I've bitten the bullet and sent off my entrance fee for a big competition! Scared. :O

Probably just do Intro or a low Prelim but need help to get Molly prepared...

Also what I wear...is a navy/black jacket suffice,rather than tweed?

So advice for getting her sparkling white?

Washed her yesterday but her feathers seemed to be just ...permanently offwhite.
Also what should I do with her mane/tail?She's sort of middleweight, dont know whether to leave it, or ...what..

Thanks!
and a pic for reference... shes slightly cleaner now :P

Sorry, can't help on what you should wear, but I can offer advice on getting white legs clean.

Wash, rinse, wash and rinse. Blue/purple fairy liquid is good, but lots and lots of rinsing.
My personal experience is to not put chalk anywhere near feather. It attracts dust and weighs then down.
If she's got feather, then the mane needs to be loose. It's a nice length.
Get the mane on the correct side of the neck (it looks to be there, but I can't see the other side) and the rub extra strong gel in the palms of your hands and smooth over the crest of the neck to help keep the mane there.
Although pink numnahs do suit, I suspect either white, or a colour to match the saddle would be a better match. :D

Good luck.

super poo really good for getting feathers and tails clean. wash and lather then leave for a few mins before rinsing. black or blue jacket, white jods, white gloves and white numnah. Have fun!!:D
