Getting dubarrys clean ?

I went to a very muddy show last week, have cleaned the uppers, but don't really know how to go about the legs with out ruining them !!!

Do I just bite the bullets and scrub or do you have any top tips?

Wash under a ruining tap with lukewarm water using a sponge and the dubarry wash then dry slowly stuff legs with a towel or newspaper or boot trees when dry use dubarry leather cream on leather bits and the nubuck spray on the rest
