Getting good at horsey sign language

I'm working 2 jobs at the mo, and in the morning i'm mucking out for a racing yard. The last 2 mornings they have left me with a non English speaking person.

I have to try and tell her how to muck out, put beds down, tack up, how to use the horse walker all by actions as she does not speak a word of English.

It is quite funny if someone was watching us.

I am in the same situation at work, with a romanian girl. Can get quite annoying at times, but it's also nice in a way not to have to natter on all the time.

Hey Kal, that's nothing! Me and my pal used to keep our horses at a riding school/trekking centre and one day got roped into helping on a HUGE trek they had going out. Turns out all the customers were a party of Russians, most of whom had never even sat on a horse before. We were told they had an interpreter with them but no-one ever found out who or where she was. We went on a 2-hour trek with 15 non-riders who didn't speak a word of English and when we FINALLY got home (after some of the most dangerous situations you could possibly imagine) the bl**dy bar was closed and we couldn't even get a nerve-settling drink. Never, ever, ever again!
