Hi any ideas on how to best remove all these greasy lumps of my saddles? No idea how they got there - think it was the leather baslam I was using. Saddles now look awful and hot water doesn't work! They are really deeply ingrained grease lumps.

I, very gently, use a nylon pot scourer, or one of those bath/shower mesh thingy's. Got to be careful though and not go mad scrubbing; use warm water and a little saddle soap. Dry with a cloth after.

Get some tail hair and rub on to the grease lumps this should remove them or loosen them up without damaging the saddle

Great ideas!!
That was the problem I found- every time I tried to scratch thr lumps out, I was just scratching out the leather.. But will try these ideas above!

Saddle soap and the dressing cause them. I only use oil and never get them.

Apart from sweat marks on the bridle which are greasey - nylon pot scrubber, soak in warm water and re oil.
