Getting hairs out of a sheepskin numnah?

AAAARGGHHH!

Why did no one tell me that its a crazy idea to use a black sheepskin half-pad...on a white horse?

And now i'm wanting to use it...on a black horse , But I can't get the blinking white hairs out! I've washed, tumble dryed, brushed, hoovered, beaten against a wall...and the little buggers are still stuck in it

Any tips? Or am I going to have to get a permanent marker out and attempt to colourthe hairs black

Dyson vacum with animal hair attachment for sheepskin, slicker block works well on cotton numnahs.

What about one of those slicker brushes or the velcro cleaner brushes?
Give it a good brush then a beating to try and loosen and dislodge the hairs. Have used these brushes on sheepskin before. Just watch how vigorous you brush though as the wool will come out too.

I hav used one of those sticky rollers before, took a ittle while but worked a treat!
