Hi
posted an item a few days ago about advise on getting my horse back into work afetr 4 months unridden...
The general concensous was to start in walk only for 2 weeks befoer intoducing trot etc...
so today I decided to do a 10 min walk that s all...and build from there.....
OMG.... when we got out she was marching and pulling to go forward had to struggle to keep walk even after 30 mins ...then as we were closed to home she was pulling to canter back.....this was after 40 mins...
well there goes my 10-15 min walk up in smoke...maybe she is fitter than I think...
I know horses keep their fitness better than humans but I was surprised at she energy she had.

I will leave my ideas at home and rely on her to tell me when enough is enough...
