We have no school and all our hacking routes are at least an hour unless we turn round and backtrack, do you think this is a good idea, or will it encourage nappiness?

similar hacking problems here too so i always have to backtrack, i just make sure i never turn in the same place too often, sometimes I'll go for a short hack in one direction, backtrack towards home but then go past home and hack a bit further in the other direction, stops them thinking that turning means straight home
