My mare isnt a fussy eater and never refused to eat something before, but ive started her on oestess which she really needs, and it is working, but its a nightmare to get her to eat it!!
Ive tried mixing well, ive tried with her favorite food, ive tried garlic, ive tried apple juice. All work a couple of times then she turns up her nose!

Any suggestions, i dont mind faffing with it, but im going away for a few days, and i doubt people will be willing to spend ages trying to make her eat it!!
Shes getting 1 1/2 scoops a day and she only gets one meal a day at the moment. Unless can think of something else will have to try splitting the meals, which i dont really want to do as she would be the only one on yard getting breakfast in summer, and shes on a bit of a diet too!!

Any suggestions are greatfully received, shes been good with all other supplement shes tried, but just cannot stand oestress!!

Thanks :)

It's a nightmare isn't it! Have you tried swapping the flavourings round daily, one day garlic, then apple, then peppermint?

Or you could do what I did to get bute down my pone - buy a large dosing syringe with a wide nozzle, get some pureed baby food (apple and carrot is good) mix with the Oestress and syringe it down her throat. It sounds faffy to begin with, but once she realised it tasted so nice she was practically opening her mouth to get it down!
