Just a question,

I get my horses back done every so often by an equine spinal therapist just to keep him feeling great! (theres nothing wrong with him)

so I'm looking to book him in again but am not sure whether to book him in before or after we go hunting? theres nothing wrong with his back so was thinking of booking him in after we go hunting as I'm sure he would appreciate his massage after that :D is this the right way round to do it?

thanks!

I would tend to book mine in several days after we have an outing planned.

I use either an ACPAT physio or else Mctimoney chiro and on the occasions that they've needed to do some work to the horses they usually suggest a few quiet days and easy work to let things settle. So you wouldn't want to go hunting the next day, for example.

Probably wouldn't book in the day after hunting, give him a few days to get over any normal muscle soreness from a hard day first.
