Got my first ever Jumping show tomorrow with the pony (so nervous!) but atm she's looking quite scruffy. She is rugged and lives out 24/7 so her coat's not too thick but her legs are super hairy so looks really odd :p Legs are caked in mud and tail and all dusty, so how can i make her look at least presentable for tomorrow :o ? Its not a big show, just a local RC one but the usual quick groom still leaves her looking like a Yeti :o So anyone have any of those secret grooming tips you'd like to share that i could try tomorrow morning to make her look like one of those gorgeous 'i've been groomed for hours and hours and hours and never leave my stable in case i get muddy' horses ;)
Thankyou :D

Hot cloth hi, I swear by it.

Get a bucket put a dab of baby oil and dettol and a tiny bit of shampoo then add some very hot water. Dip a towel in so its damp not soaking the run the towel over coat. Will make her super shiney and get rid of any grime, dust and grease.

Good luck tomorrow and honestly if your a little scruffy no one will mind. Hope you have fun :)
