Hi All,
I don't post in here very often but just wanted to pick your brains for some recommendations. Very sadly we lost my boyfriend's lovely Giant Schnauzer over the weekend, she was 13 years old so a good age but although the rest of her was willing her back legs failed her on Saturday night.
Her signature was that she wore a chunky red leather collar with metal dog bones on it. My boyfriend didn't want to keep her ashes or the collar (i think he didn't know what he would do with them) but i went back to the vets and retrieved the collar yesterday. I'd really like to do something with the collar, or part of it, for him as a memento. I was thinking about getting the metal bones from it turned into cufflinks or something.
So i'm asking for any ideas or companies anyone knows of that could help turn my slightly worn but very loved dog collar into something we can remember Sophie-Schnauzer by (that's suitable for a man).
Thanks for any help (sat at work trying not to cry!).
