Friend is in the process of buying a few acres and wants to put up some Temp stables. Any ideas/recommendations for stables? The ones she has phoned so far are all booked out for the summer.

And any other ideas welcome for setting up her own place

Thanks x

What about purchasing mobile stables, the ones that look like traditional wooden ones but are built on skids, apparently you can remove the skids and bolt them down as and when you get your planning permission. Would save the cost of hiring temporary show type stables.

She looked at those, and they worked out very very expensive! Will let her know they can be bolted down, if she did hire, then buy some, would probably work out the same cost?

I'd get the planning permission first and then buy the bolt down stables - if she gets going now then she'd be able to put up stables in autumn if she isn' going to get PP problems

horses could maybe live out over the summer
