Just recently cannot seem to get a copy of the mag. My local Morrison's supermarket says they only get one a week and a worker there buys that! The coop had none in so the manager is going to query this and give me a call. The only papershop in the town has closed its doors! My daughter in law bought the last copy from Sainsburys in Melton Mowbray last week and I've sent message to ask her for this week's if she can get it.
Don't want a subscription for the mag as I've enjoyed getting of the shelves since it was in black and white and don't like change too much?

M&S always have plenty of copies near me ! Maybe give that a go if you have one local ?

In the old days you could order it through a local newsagent and they’d keep your copy especially for you so couldn’t be taken by anyone else. Probably still can. It used to be something you’d really look forward to.

I occasionally buy a copy if I see one which is rarely even at various station WH Smiths.

Ask your local coop or Morrison to get a copy for you and reserve it for you. My local spar did that for years for me

I live in a very rural area where you'd expect it to be easy to get as all the newsagents/local shops sell countless shooting/farming/dog magazines...but no. I've rarely seen it for sale. For a weekly magazine it's expensive and I don't think the demand is there

If you do buy the mag every week, then the postal subscription does work out cheaper.

I found it increasingly difficult to get hold of a paper copy from the usual outlets so I switched to subscribing a good few years ago. Mostly the mag arrives on the day it should.

It's a few years since I've seen it on any shelves round here, and though I don't buy it anymore, I do still look to see if it's there. It never is. I detest what the magazine has become, but if I saw it on the shelves I'd probably still buy it occasionally.

What has it become? I haven't read a copy for years but was thinking of having them sent to me again as I quite enjoy a magazine in the garden
