when i was at mary kings she advised that i jump my horse in cut off over reach boots, the pull on variety.
so the bulbs are protected, but the risk of stepping on the boot is reduced due to it being cut in half

so i bought some, but cant get them on for love nor money.
is there a trick that im missing-please help

Boil a kettle and let the over reach boots soak in a bucket of hot water for a few minutes first - it softens up the plastic to make them easier to pull on

Turn em inside out and smear vaseline on them - does reduce the life slightly but was the only way to get them on my lad even with the event style high neck ones- hot water didn't work
