Getting ready for winter

My YO is taking the mick, I have asked at least 8 times for him to stop the leak in my stable, he finally had a look about a week ago and he said it needed resealing and he would get it done.
He still hasn't, so I got my uncle out today (hes a plumber) and he's sorted it out for me

So I've ordered my rubber matting tonight, its costing me £200 and is 17mm thick.
Now need to disinfect and get rid of cobwebs etc and then order some shavings, its nice to finally be able to get on with it, as I have been worried about running out of time

You still got plenty of time!!

I just looked at the long range weather forecast for here (next 10 days) and it is due to be fine and sunny (up to 20 in the day) with no sign of rain or anything.

Oh my word you are so lucky! We had hail the other day and been having a small covering of ground frost in the mornings. Not to mention the gale force winds and awful rain - thats it am moving!
