Getting rid of buttercups

I have just moved my mare into a yard which has individual turnout. I have been offered a larger paddock when another livery moves but it seems to have an abundance of buttercups! Is there anything which I can safely spray to get rid of the buttercups? Would be good to encourage some grass to grow too as its quite well grazed!

you can get somthing thats called Banish its for buttercups and works a bit like grazeon

There was a post earlier this week on this, suggestions were spray with one of the following,
Verdone, SBK and Headland Relay one of them required keeping horses off the land for a week.
I intend contacting our gardening dept and asking them, so watch this space
