I hate poo picking. I mean, I HATE poo picking more than anything. More than celery even.

So I am thinking of trying to find someone to do it for me. It'd need to be done daily - 3 horses on 3 acres and similar sized field in summer. Shouldn't take too long at all - I do it in half hour easily.

How much would you pay someone to do this and where would you find someone???

If I thought you were near enough I'd send one of my kids :D

How about an advert in your local newsagent? and minimum wage rates?

It wouldn't be worth someone's while travelling to you to poo pick for half an hour a day for minimum wage - £5.80 an hour - that's £2.90 innit??

Agree with this, needs to be youngster within walking distance who wants a bit of pocket money.

It is the sort of thing my kids would do, but to make it worth their while would need to be right on the doorstep (please do not deposit on my doorstep :D )

That's what I was wondering. Don't need anything else doing though. But really don't want to poo pick!

Any ideas?

I'd have to pick it up to do that and that's what I am trying to avoid doing!

How much quicker is it with a quad and a poover? I'd be on my own doing it, so surely it'd be very stop start and take ages? Probably too expensive an option anyway. Could do with more stables and fixing some fencing more than a poo hoover

It is a pity you're not at my yard, 'cos I would poo pick for you - could do with the extra cash. It's the mucking out I hate!

Its much quicker, and you dont even have to get off.

is it essential that its done everyday? because someone is more inclined to do 4 hours on the weekend for £20 than half an hour a day for a couple quid.. unless they are very very close..
