Day three is big change from day one much more relaxed. He still has the odd tantrum, he is now learning that he can't get away with any stroppy antics :D
A good variety of work today. Armas still needs to stretch and work much more from his hind.

Spanish walk is coming along nicely he is getting the basics. Today we worked in hand and whilst ridden.

For those of you that would like to see the video of today its in the video vault.

Quick question regarding soya oil. I am always worried about his condition and given he is working harder.
I bought a couple of gallons of Bailies oil. I am following the instructions has any one had negative experience of using oil ?
My feed regime at the moment is 2.5/ 3 kg Allan Page calm & conditioning ( Armas weighs about 400kg mixed with water 150g of winter sun summer shine 2 squares of fresh alfalfa and adlib hay.

This was him yesterday.

Bump no answers re the feed ?

Oil is fine, it is slow release so should not make him hot up and worry off the weight, just make sure that you are feeding him enough Vit E to enable him to utilise it.

TBH a product I swear by is Triple Crown Triple Top Up, it is powdered full fat soya with Vit E and selenium, the starch level is really low so brilliant for hot horses. I don't know how easy it is to get in France but I believe you can get it through Baileys.

Hope this helps.
