Hoping someone can help....
Won two tickets to olympia on fri night from baileys horse feeds, anyway what do people find the best way to get to olympia (been before but on coach trips e.g. richmonds coaches etc) If heading from cambridge direction what way would anybody tend to go. any advice greatfully recieved. AM a complete london novice, only ever been about 4 times but always on organised coach trips or private coach parties etc never had to find my own way ;{

Also hoping the snow doesnt come back otherwise i wont be able to go at all

Hi, If you can get to Braintree i do know that there is a local riding club that is going on that evening and have spare seats on there coach. Let me know and ill pm the details.

:-)

thanks jodie1084 that would be helpful, thinking i was going to have to drive part of the way anyway. being such a london novice it was the tube bit that was really scaring me!!!! as long as the riding club wouldnt mind having to extras that dont belong to the club and that it wouldnt cost too much

If you can't get the coach, you could drive to Watford Junction and catch the Southern Train line there. It takes half an hour and stops at Kensington Olympia, which is exactly opposite the entrance - perfect! Just have to walk out of station and cross the road.

But getting to Watford junction (or Hemel Hempstead which is one stop further out) is probably a little harder. It does save changing trains and catching tubes and hanging about Earls Court for hours though and means you can carry tons of shopping home :)

If you do decide to get the trains its pretty simple; from Cambridge get an express train to Kings Cross, follow the signs for the tube and then head for the Piccadilly line. Disembark at Earls Court and swap platforms to the district line, where there is a shuttle tube that goes from Earls Court to Olympia (this is an easy bit, the horsey crowd are pretty obvious!). I've done it a couple of times, and its not too bad (did it last year with a lot of shopping, including new turnout rug, on the way home!)
