Hi all,
So, am reading around and basically trying to understand why I feed what I feed! I like the barefoot type of feeding, ie not so much branded feeds and supplements, but a basic base then magox, brewers yeast etc. But I can't work out what a horses' rda are for the diff vits and minerals and what would be the best way of ensuring my horse gets enough. The more I read the more I question what I read previously!!!
Oh, and it also has to be affordable!
Currently they are on topchop lite or fast fibre, with brewers yeast, magox (heavy), seaweed, with a scoop of pink powder so that even if I have got the rest wrong they at least get something decent!!! I worry that I am either doubling up or missing on vital bits, but it seems hard to find clear info to start from?
Help!!!
