Getting wee smells out of carpets?

Now Meg has finally stoppped weeing in th house (thans for all the propalin suggestions, worked a treat, and she's stronger on her back legs too, probably coincidence but you never know!)... I cleaned all the carpets with a heavy duty vax thingy. Anyway, two days later, the house smells worse than it did before, the place REEKS of dog wee and horrible commecial carpet cleaner. Anyone got any suggestions?! I have heard about using a 50/50 vinegar/water solution instead of shampoo, anyone tried it?

Try Biological washing liquid Surf is good then rinse loads also Ammonia will take the smell away.

Get a bottle of Odourcide, its great fairly cheap and smells good, you should be able to get tit from your vet.

Can't remember wht its called by I got a bottle of stuff from the pet shop which worked really well - its a big yellow bottle and wasn't too expensive.

pets at home do a really good stain and odour remover spray. Worked really well when I was cleaning up puppy accidents!

This really does work, believe me! Bicarbonate of soda! Dappen the smelly bit with warm water, pour on the bicarb and work it in, keep rinsing until u think its all out and let it dry, hover next day! worked for me after i tried everything and believe me it was really bad to begin with! lol!
