Please recommend any products of methods you have for getting your greys or white areas white.

I bathed Freddie the other day and managed to get most stains out but not all.
I'm thinking of going with 'Supreme Products' and have a long list of goodies to order. But thought I'd ask some advice first.

Thank you in advance.

to get my boy clean i use a supermarket cheap shampoo (not the super cheap, but there own brand) and get it to foam really well, this really seems to do the trick more than anything. then i rinse him off and use a sweat scraper at the same time to really clean him. hope this helps.

this is a pic from sun, all i had done was above then put him a fly rug on overnight in the field, and only gave him a quick flick over with a brush in the morning, no one would of guessed

Methelated spirits for grass stains.

Fairy liquid and warm water - activates the shampoo better. Use a plastic curry to get well down into the roots, especially on the bum. Rinse and repeat, then use a really good conditioner - I use Fructis Sleek & Shine conditioner for coarse rebellous hair.

I like the idea about denture tablets for the tail - I shall try that one.

Supreme Products are very good, but the stain remover shampoo is nothing to shout about! I love Bright and White! Its the best....! And before shows, J gets a white wash (on his white bits) and pasted legs in bandages overnight. He looks amazingly white, even if i do say so myself!

Has anyone got any ideas to get snot marks of the white bits? There's a horse on our yard whose owner is getting a bit frustrated as he rubs his nose/mouth on the same part of his leg and the stains are proving difficult (impossitble) to get out. I've given them the majority of this thread but if anyone has any clever snot-removing ideas, it'd be much appreciated!
