After 3 weeks of trying to heal a cut, I've had new x-rays which show my horse has a big chip in his bone in his forearm.
The vet said he doesn't want to operate as the bone could break if the chip is removed, so he wants to up the antibiotics to kill of the infection. He said the chip is incapsulated by new bone and should cover over if we can stop his body trying to reject it.
I've been searching on the internet, trying to calm my nerves by working out which bone has the chip. I believe there are some smaller bones within the forearm, but I'm not sure were they sit.
Any pictures of skeletons you have could help, its on the inside of his front leg about an inch infront of his chestnut.
