GFS Bridles

Does anybody have a GFS full bridle and cob bridle?
I currently have the full grackle on my mare (with clips on cheekpieces) but it has a normal cavesson on. This cavesson isn't from GFS. I am a big fan of the quality and style. Being 14.1hh the bridle (which came with her) is on second to top hole on cheekpieces and top hole with lots and lots of room on the throatlash.
However in other bridles I have tried (Amigo Mio, Kincade) the cob throatlash is much too tight and the browband is incredibly tight.
SO my question is do I get a full and have a loose throatlash and high cheekpieces. Or do I get a cob (hoping it is different to other makes) and pray its bigger on the browband but long enough on the throatlash?
Apologies for the complicated post and I hope somebody understands my dilemna!
 
Not sure if this will help at all but I had a GFS cob bridle a few years back that came with a flash (never used the strap) on my 14hh Arabx and it was on the top holes for every buckle just about, but the browband was too tight (she needs a full browband). To be honest I think mine was also from a bad batch of leather as it was the stiffest bridle ever (I had a pony one too and it was the same) but I know they have decent reviews so I think it was just mine.

Now I buy pony cheeks, cob headpiece, cob noseband and full browband, sometimes I need to swap the cheeks over depending on what bit I use. Collegiate ones are similar quality to what my GFS was, but are a lot softer and you can get all the parts separately, if that is of any use.
 
Thank you, that is very helpful. Think I'm going to keep an eye on ebay etc and get a cob, then try and find a cheap full browband. But its worth trying the cob one! (Might be my excuse to finally get an equiture browband-not sure pony club would approve though!;))
Will also have a look at collegiate, thank you, I previously thought they would be out of price rangree, but if they are good quality its worth saving for them
