GFS turnout rug.

The gelding is rapidly outgrowing his Rhino rug. ( Yay, rug bargain shopping needed! ) I have found a GFS turnout for a good price, how do they fit around the neck? Are they better suited to chunky monkeys or would they suit a slim shouldered youngster?

I have full neck one for my tb (who also has a rhino) and have been really pleased with it. Mine has two d rings to clip to and the length of the straps are also adjustable, so should suit something broader as well

I have both too, for a cob cross chunky monkey. The GFS is more roomy round the shoulders, they are nice rugs.

I have the GFS turnouts on my Anglo and I like them and he isn't really chunky. They fit nicely and have never rubbed, perhaps because they seem to sit higher up the neck and never across the wither.
