The day is fast-approaching (3 more days!) when I leave Germany after four months of training here with a couple of my horses.
I am extremely grateful for all the help my trainer here has given me, and have really enjoyed my time here. I just want to give her and the people at the barn a little gift and card to show my appreciation. Probably one separate gift for my trainer, and another gift for the barn as a whole.
But the question is WHAT?!
I was thinking maybe a couple of new dressage whips to have by the arena with her name on them, because the ones she has are all random and broken. But then I figured there is probably a reason they are all broken - so nobody takes them home! If there are some nice shiny new whips on the side of the arena I'm sure they are likely to be taken off in the back of someones lorry unfortunately. Name on it or not.
And for the barn I was thinking a big tub of Haribo for them all to share and some flowers, but does anyone have anything more creative??
