Girly dog question!

Ok quick run down - dog in question is 9 year old mini schnauzer, spayed after her first season.

Beastie was never one for licking her 'lady bits' a lot. Quick clean up after the toilet and that was it. However, recently she is licking there more and more. It's icky! She isn't peeing any more than normal but she won't met me look to check if it's red or inflammed (She's a lady doncha know? And how dare I try and peek at her bits!) No change in diet either.

Any ideas?

Can't you sneak a peak when tickling her tummy ? or when you're brushing her ?
