I have been using the aerborne humane girth with great success.... so santa gave me a leather humane one.... but I feel my saddle slips with it.... so been researching girths & other types jump out at me.....
Just wondered what the thoughts were on the Stubben cord girth & the reactor panel girth ( altho very expensive.... and not sure as I'm still pretty novice)
Maybe I should stick with the aeroborne one.... but some people say they cn be done up too tight!!!!
Oh the dilemma.......

Thanks

Honestly? I'd stick with what works! Any girth can be done up too tight, ones with elastic more easily. I think so long as you are aware of this then you can be extra careful not to do this. My personal choice is a girth with elastic at both ends in synthetic or leather.

I'd stick with the Aerborne girth that you like. It is quite possible to do any girth too tight. You just need to make sure that you can fit your hand (flat) between the horse and the girth.
I personally like the humane girths. I was really pleased to see the Stubben cord girth and bought one but wasn't too pleased with it when we'd used it a few times. It needed sewing back together after every wash. And as it was white it needed to be washed after every wear.
