At last worked out how to post a thread! not very computer clever Any help please pony has a small girth gall just noticable, he has gone a lot fitter and leaner over the last 3 months. Wears a shaped humane thorogood elasic girth, which is supposed to be breathable ect. I have been cleaning area with surgical spirit. Does not seem to effect him as he would soon let me no,being a male! sure it is a gall simular size to a bite but no broken skin and is a lump. Also saddle slips to one side any ideas for that, it has been fitted for him,he is very round still and has no withers to speak of. does any one think that a double sidded elastic girth my help?

Hiya, i have a small weighty pony with no withers at all and constantly have problems with his saddle slipping, fowards and sideways. For the saddle slipping fowards i used a crupper but for the saddle slipping sideways i sucsessful used a pony saddle stay pad (http://www.frogpool.com/tack/saddles/saddle-pads-and-numnahs/prolite-pony-saddlestay-pad.html) i found it very effective and if nessecary they can be put just on one side to prevent it slipping a particular way. This is the onmly product i have found which have worked, and reduced the problem x
