Girth recommendations for a cob

As title what girths do you all use on your cobs?

Mine has a Stubben string girth. Everything else rubbed. He's very pink skinned and this just seems to not irritate him.

Professional Choice are great. Have a pink skinned sensitive horse and I have ridden him for miles and miles in very hot weather. Never rubbed or caused concern. Use the cinch for western saddle also.

I use a Jeffries neoprene non elasticated one. Her saddle slips side to side a lot because she's so wide and round. I use it with a very non slip numnah and her saddle stays in place and had no issues with rubbing so far either.

I have the professionals choice ventech smx which I really rate, it stays in place and the material means it's super breathable

I use the Thorowgood cob girth on my current welsh d and my old Irish cob x had one too. They're non elasticated and have split ends - smart, not expensive and very durable.

I use the thorowgood with the elastic end and a poly pad. He's very round and the saddle doesn't budge.

Stuben string girth. Helps with any saddle slipping when he gets hot.

Aerborn Humane synthetic girth; but beware of over-tightening as easy to do.

Had a bog-standard Wintec plain one, but found it slipped.
