Girth Rubbing or Just changing Colour???

I have a Appaloosa gelding who is cold backed when getting on him, I noticed last night when he was rolling that he has two marks white marks on his belly were his girth goes. They are not sore to touch, just two white spots, I'm worried that it is his girth rubbing? I use a Tekna comfort girth on him... Does anyone have any other suggestions? He is a bay colour with white spots/flecks all over him so it might just be new spots but looks like rubs.... Please help!!

Are there any lumps under the white hair? If they're not sore to touch I'd keep an eye on them and see do they become sensitive, maybe get a girth sleeve if you think he's being rubbed.

I could be wrong, but it's my understanding that white hairs are old wounds grown in, my lad has a few, all were present when I bought him, he is X trotter and we think from traveller people
