Girth/saddle issues..

i know all horses do this but its getting rediculous....

fasten up the girth (slowly) and she breathes in?? so cant do it up properly - walk her round (from the ground) - fasten it up more (and fail)

then i decided to lunge in walk - stopped tried girth up again - nothing

I ended up getting on her by launching myself from the steps which isnt great nor safe tbh.

Her saddle/back have been checked shes fine. But this girth issue is driving me insaine.

Any pointers??

(btw - i wouldnt even be asking this if i had someone about to help me but im on my own)!

What kind of girth are you using?

dunno???but maybe if u get her to put her head down she cant suck in her belly as easily???

If you aren't already using one I'd try a humane girth, like this:

shes in a dressage saddle/girth

i would have liked to kill her today lol.

do they do those girths in dressage ones???

im after a new saddle for her too ahting about to treeless ones if anyone knows anything about them??.....

few on ebay for £150-£200 (new at £269 near me).... mabey thats her other issue???
